I was reading an article [link] about Lenny Kravitz that gave background into his faith and his quest for purity/celibacy. (There’s some really interesting stuff about His father finding salvation while dying in a hospital bed and seeing visions of dark-winged figures, how he struggled with sex and God, and how faith has influenced him.)
I stumbled across this song and I’m fairly convinced that the object of the song is our savior. It seems consistent with the tattoo on his back “My heart belongs to Jesus Christ.” Never even knew. Worship song? I think so. :)
